Booming Lifts!

In this area of work, which is notorious for its safety hazards: goods are commonly stacked to the roof of containers, up to 4 metres off the ground, with a high risk of loosened products falling onto loaders. Many importers have to operate from ground level at level-floor, dockless warehouses.

Whilst the Romadek system provides a safe working platform at the rear of the vehicle, and allows the topmost goods to be reached with ease, the boom speeds up the flow of goods into the warehouse.

Turner Bianca, importers of fine textiles, have taken on two Romadek HH1500 mobile loading systems to be used alongside booms at their Manchester depot. “Particularly useful for us is the easy mobility of the systems, as well as their safety”, says Dan Goodhew, Site Manager. “When not in use, we simply push the Romadeks and booms aside to keep access to our doorways free”
