Transdek lifts deliver the goods at CV Show 2013

Date : Wednesday, 13 March 2013

Market leading loading equipment and good lifts innovator Transdek UK will be featuring working models of its cutting edge solutions at the CV Show on stand 5A110 at the NEC, Birmingham, on 9 – 11 April 2013.

Visitors to this year’s event will be able to get ‘hands-on’ experience of the company’s unique vehicle-to-ground (V2G) loading solution, which is the only practical surface mounted lift that enables the loading and unloading of all vehicle types to ground level.

The unique loading solution will also incorporate Transdek’s Load Weight Monitor (LWM) technology. The LWM provides a safe, highly accurate system for filling double deck trailers as it measures the weight and distribution of product on both decks during the loading cycle.

To ensure full control and rapid turnaround of production, Transdek’s wide range of lifts and loading products, including the award winning V2G model are all manufactured in the UK at in-house facilities in Harworth, Yorkshire.

Also on show will be one of Transdek’s mezzanine floor lifts, which offers a simple, safe and effective way to handle the movement of loads up to 1,000kg in self-storage operations, warehouses and factories. Providing a cost effective solution, the lifts are installed straight onto the existing floor and do not require any pit installations.

“Our ability to showcase these products at a show where installation time schedules are so tight demonstrates just how quickly these units can be installed. We understand the importance of time sensitive projects and aim to make the install process as quick and seamless as possible,” comments Mark Adams, Managing Director at Transdek UK Ltd.

The company also offers an unrivalled project management facility; working with a wide range of customers and contractors to optimise product flows, deliver cost efficiencies with a reliable and sustainable solution.

With recent growth in double deck transport operations, all Transdek’s solutions are aimed at providing optimal loading bay efficiencies to streamline the supply chain for future developments.

“At Transdek our aim is to provide innovative and cost effective loading bay and lifting solutions that deliver long term value,” says Adams. “Our modular equipment is designed to provide a future proof option with the ability to service all goods vehicles now and in the future. The lifts can also be quickly relocated if requirements change”.

Winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2012, Transdek has worked on a range of projects, including converting over 150 stores to accept deliveries from double deck trailers for many Blue-Chip companies including major retailers Tesco, TJ Morris (Home Bargains) and Boots. The company has also won a Design 4 Safety Award for its range of self contained double deck lift pods.
