Transdek takes part in Movers and Storers 2013 to highlight innovative mezzanine lifts

Date : Monday, 16 September 2013

Award winning lifting equipment specialist, Transdek, is exhibiting its innovative mezzanine floor lifts on stand A3 at the Movers & Storers Show - the UK’s biggest event for the Removals and Storage sectors – at Silverstone Circuit, the home of the British Grand Prix, on 22-23 October 2013.

The double Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation winner manufactures mezzanine lifts that feature unique technology and are designed for ease of operation, with built in advanced safety features included as standard.

Transdek’s unrivalled ability to quickly install this type of freestanding mezzanine lift, often in under a day, illustrates the product’s simple design, which also facilitates streamlined integration. Each unit is supplied in modular format and is powered by a unique electro-hydraulic motor and ram configuration, specifically designed for a low-maintenance operation.

And Transdek’s experience in providing lifts for the removal and self-storage industry is second to none. With over 350 goods lifts installed throughout the UK, the company’s lifts handle the movement of a wide range of products for companies, including Storage King, The Store Room and Simon Long Removals.

“At the Movers and Storers show we will be highlighting how companies can move products between floors more efficiently and improve operations using our cost effective and easy to install mezzanine floor lifts,” says Mark Adams, Managing Director at Transdek UK.

“Whether retrofitting lifts at existing sites or installing at new-builds, one of our experienced team of surveyors makes a site visit to assess specific installation and operational constraints and parameters. This ensures the most effective solution is installed for each customer and avoids downstream complications.”

For minimum on-site disruption, Transdek’s lifts are surface mounted, removing the need for expensive civil engineering works or bespoke motor rooms. Installed in one to two days, the lifts offer a fast, cost effective means to convert a building for safe mezzanine floor access.

“For all types of businesses making the most effective use of available space and ensuring easy, safe and cost effective access to these secondary storage areas can deliver significant return on investment benefits,” adds Leon Butler, General Manager at Transdek.
