Versatile Loading for Schneider Electrics

Schneider Electrics have taken on a Romadek XL2250 mobile loading dock to enable the safe and efficient loading of vehicles at their recently-acquired Swindon site. The lack of loading docks at the warehouse forced Schneider to quickly find a means to lift their large boxes of sophisticated electronics equipment onto waiting trailers.

With only one door in and out of the warehouse, it was imperative to find a system that could be moved aside when not in use to keep access free. Transdek’s innovative system was felt to be the best product for the job. Despite its considerable size (the lift platform measures over 3 metres long and 2.4 metres wide – large enough for 9 rollcages or 6 pallets), the XL2250’s large, multi-directional wheels provide full mobility for the lift.

Transdek claim that their mobile loading docks provide a more versatile solution to loading bay handling than any other product on the market.
