A relocatable platform that allows loose and palletised loads to be moved safely from vehicles without tail-lifts is now available from Transdek UK Ltd.

The platform, which can be moved easily by a fork lift or hand pallet truck, avoids the use of pallet stacks and other unsafe practices at premises without loading docks. It has a load capacity of two tonnes and provides a working area of 2400mm x 1750mm.

Steel guard rails prevent falls while allowing good access for lift trucks, and a hinged bridging plate creates a continuous surface between the platform and the vehicle. Steps at one side provide easy access for staff, and adjustable feet are included so that the platform can service vehicles of different heights. Overall construction is robust and the platform is CE-marked.
