Fitted with our unique V-Glide sash rear doors and built to the highest quality standards, our range of stepframe double deck trailers offers exceptional reliability and durability for dryfreight and temperature controlled operations.

Our range of stepframe trailers provides up to 67% more load compared to single deck artics. Based on a fixed deck design, these trailers also offer up to 19% more payload relative to moving deck trailers. Additional lightweight options can be added to our stepframe double decks to achieve the greatest payload capacities and fuel efficiencies, including monopan panels and aluminium wheels and air tanks.

With overall vehicle heights ranging from 4600mm to 4950mm, our stepframe range is ideally suited to a wide range of operations in the UK and Ireland. For height restricted operations, we have also developed a range of ultra low height stub axle double deckers.

Taillift options are available for customer’s un/loading at flat-floor sites, allowing a high level of flexibility for operators delivering to sites without dedicated loading systems

V-GLIDE SASH DOORS

Our V-Glide sash type rear doors* offer a totally fresh approach to double deck rear doors. Each deck has its own counterweighted composite panel door that slides independently in slimline vertical columns set in to the rearframe, meaning that only one deck is open at a time. With a smooth, quick and easy open-close mechanism, and robust automatic locking mechanisms, our V-Glide doors generate the following operating benefits, compared to conventional barn and/or shutter door types:

TailLifts

We offer a range of double deck column taillifts to suit your specific requirements, including low beam lifts (with half barn doors) and taillifts with specially developed hydraulics* to work with our V-Glide rear doors. All of our taillifts are designed for the safest and most efficient double deck un/loading operations, and built to provide robust, low maintenance service. Our standard taillifts typically have a minimum 1700mm deep platform with a hydraulically powered closure. We offer comprehensive safety features as standard on all taillifts, with a range of optional extras for enhanced benefits. PIEK certified options are also available for out of hours deliveries.

We provide a range of finance options for our customers, with the aim to optimise funding flexibility and cost effectiveness, making loading bay and double deck transport investment even more attractive and affordable. Bespoke finance packages can be arranged by our in-house finance team or via your preferred finance partner. We work with all major leasing providers to offer equipment on: hire purchase, finance lease or operating lease. Short term rental options are also available for the smooth and flexible integration of both loading systems and trailers.
