Speedpac is a leading specialist in third-party logistics and contract packing, providing flexible warehousing and fulfilment services for high-volume operations. Operating from its Wellingborough facility, the business supports a wide range of customers with scalable solutions designed to meet demanding throughput requirements and changing contract volumes.
Speedpac required a fast, cost-effective loading solution to support a new high-volume contract without waiting for permanent dock installation. The system needed to load double deck trailers directly from the warehouse floor, avoiding dock levellers and civil works. Transdek supplied a 12-pallet, 5.3-tonne V2G lift, installed within a temporary structure.
The V2G lift was installed and operational within three days, with minimal disruption to warehouse activity. Its large platform allows articulated vehicles to be loaded in few cycles, improving throughput. The modular, surface-mounted design delivers an immediate, scalable loading solution, supporting high-frequency loading operations and enhanced operational flexibility.
