Ricoh is one of the world’s leading document and IT solutions providers. In addition to its corporate technology consulting services, the company produces a wide range of innovative imaging devices, copiers, software and digital photographic equipment.
Ricoh UK commissioned Transdek to expand its loading capability at three distribution sites, in order to consolidate recycling facilities at its ‘Green Centre’ in Wellingborough. We developed bespoke warehouse modifications for each site, including sealed extensions, raised docking areas, dock levellers and internal dock lifts – all surface-mounted and without civils.
Based on Transdek’s delivery of the project, Ricoh was able to increase its loading capability at the Wellingborough site to handle the additional, consolidated recycling services, and was thus able to achieve its plans to streamline its supply chain.
