Ocado - Multi Vehicle Loading

Transdek installed two double-deck lifts with a lobby at Ocado, creating a seamless thoroughfare through to the existing warehouse. Each lift was fitted with a specially designed Vandango bridge plate, allowing them to efficiently handle both small home delivery vans and the largest double-deck trailers, ensuring smooth and reliable movement of goods throughout the facility.

Next - V2G for Existing Warehouse

Transdek installed a V2G lift to support inbound deliveries for the warehouse’s click-and-collect area. An internal opening was formed to fit the lift within the building, ensuring seamless integration with existing operations. The full installation was completed within two days, providing an efficient and future-ready goods movement solution.

Matalan - Universal Loading

Two 18-rollcage double-deck lifts were installed at Matalan’s Knowsley DC, each fitted with bi-fold bridge plates and tail lift pockets. Installed in just two days, the lifts have halved loading times, improved safety for loaders, and cut tail lift usage by around 50%, delivering significant operational efficiencies.

As a result of fitting the Transdek lifts, we’ve been able to half the loading time of our double deck trailers, as well as increasing safety for our loaders and drivers. Another major benefit for us is that the machines will comfortably service our changing fleet profile, as we switch to Transdek’s Wedge and other forms of double deck trailers to further increase our logistics efficiencies in the future.
